Iron Dice Iron Dice is a solo-developed, real-time-with-pause medieval grand strategy game set in a fractured world after the collapse of an old empire. Lead one of 30+ kingdoms, build an economy, shape your government, conduct diplomacy, research new technology, and raise armies and navies. Every system shows its work. Follow the causes of your income, inspect production bonuses, and see estimated battle outcomes as armies move. A complete campaign is designed to take roughly 2–5 hours. Build an economy you can trace Choose what your provinces produce and connect compatible industries into regional production chains. Terrain, infrastructure, and neighboring goods shape your opportunities. Change production directly from the map, compare bonuses, and plan around the downtime while an industry retools. Domestic trade supports your treasury, while access to foreign markets increases trade income. Wars and embargoes can close those markets, giving diplomatic decisions an economic consequence. Give diplomacy your attention Assign a limited pool of diplomats to influence relations or carry out timed missions, including alliance talks, military access, embargoes, and declarations of war. Decide which neighbors deserve a diplomat and when to recall an assignment for a more urgent task. Shape your government Choose lasting institutions for Government, Economy, and Military, then issue edicts to pursue immediate goals. Compare the benefits and drawbacks of a reform, use cultural alternatives, and spend authority on the choices that suit your realm. Fight for a stronger kingdom Raise armies and navies, maneuver across provinces and seas, and inspect destinations, arrival times, enemy strength, and estimated battle outcomes. Win battles, conduct sieges, occupy territory, and negotiate peace. Animated land and naval combat brings the struggle onto the 3D campaign map. Carry a campaign to its conclusion Research innovations that unlock goods, buildings, and units or strengthen your realm. Pursue campaign goals with visible objectives and rewards, and choose which provinces will make your kingdom stronger across multiple campaign maps.
